  In the 1850 Federal Census, John 40 & Julia A. Remington 36 and their three children are living at Grand Blanc, Genesee Co., MI. In the 1860 Federal Census, John & Julia are still living at Grand Blanc, Genesee Co., MI. Their son Charles, age 18, is in the household. They are living near daughter Pamelia Gilbert and her family. Also in the same town in both of these censuses is John's brother Levi and family. John died at age 97.
