    • In the 1870 Federal Census, Reuben & Mary E. Remington, ages 37 & 21, are living at Dallas, Polk Co., OR. They have two young daughters, Lucy 2, & Sarah 1 month.

      In 1880 they are still living at Dallas, OR. There are 6 children in the household, and the family is living next door to John & Masey Kinsey, probably Mary's parents (I am adding them to the family tree with this assumption).

      In1900 they are still in the same town. The household consists of Reuben C. & Mary E. Remington, and four of their children (youngest one illegible - Gilla?).

      By 1910 Mary has been widowed.
