    • In the 1850 Federal Census, Charles is age 24, a clerk, living with his family in Warwick, RI. There was another Charles Remington living in RI in 1850 -- a clerk, age 21, living in a hotel in Ward 5, Providence. Who is he? Could he be the same individual counted twice?

      According to an 1895 article in "Club and Professional Life of Rhode Island" about Henry Adolphus Remington (Jr.), his brother Charles was living in Providence at that time. No other details are given about Charles. It does confirm that their brother William died in Atlanta, GA.
