    • The Monroe Book says George died at sea on a passage from Havana to Charleston, SC, on 29 Dec 1820. However, if he had a son born about 1824, that date cannot be possible. The "RI Genealogical Register" gives the date of death as 8 Dec 1824 (no location or cause noted).

      The family name is spelled Munro on Martha's gravestone.
