    • I have made an assumption that Russel belongs in this family group, because he and his family are living with Harriet Kent in the 1870 Federal Census. His year of birth fits the time frame, also.

      In the 1870 Federal Census, Russel and Abby Ann are both age 51, living in East Providence, RI, with his mother, Ruth Kent. Also in the home are two daughters, Clara A. & Anna R. In the 1880 Federal Census, Russel is a widower, age 61, living at East Providence with his daughter's family, William & Lucy Houghton and their four children. They are living next door to William & Betsey Armington, and nearby Russel's sister and brother-in-law, Hannah R. & Isaac B. Kent.
