    • There is a bit of confusion between the census records and the cemetery data. Was there one son George, or two? Possibly the dates on the gravestone were misread. The RI Cemetery Database has the dates for George W. Jenckes as c.1859 - 15 Aug 1859. However, he was clearly born in 1850, as he is in the census that year as four months old. So, either he really died in August 1850, or there was a second son George, and both died young.
