In the 1870 Federal Census, Frank is listed as Frank Wilder, 12, and is living in Randolph, PA, with his mother and stepfather, Sylvester Wilder.
In 1880 Frank Lippitt is living at Meadville, Crawford Co., PA. He is age 23, and is among a group of students boarding at North Main St., listed beneath the name of William Scott, Attorney at Law. These students range from age 15 to 29.
According to Richard Brownell, a Lippitt descendant, Frank F. Lippitt b c1858 married first to Addie Guy, who died in 1897. Frank married second to Mrs. Rose Garver in 1899.
In the 1910 Federal Census, F. F. & Rose Lippitt are ages 52 & 49. They are living at Meadville, Crawford Co., PA, with their blended family: Guy 26, Robert 23, Karl 21, Lucile 16 (all surname Lippitt), Blanche Garver 27, & Elizabeth Garver 22 (all b PA).
In the 1920 Federal Census, F. F. Lippitt is age 63, b PA, still living at Meadville, Crawford Co., PA. His wife is Rose G. Lippitt, age 59, b PA. A stepdaughter, Elizabeth, age 30 (?), is with them. They are living next door to George S. & Blanche Davenport, ages 40 & 38, both b PA. Blanche is a stepdaughter of Frank.
