    • William's death record identifies his parents as John & Sarah Turner.

      In the Federal Census of 1850, Wm B. & Rhoda Turner, ages 36 & 39, are living at Becket, Berkshire Co., MA. They have nine children. Also in the household are two of Rhoda's uncles, Joel & Amasa Tuttle, both born CT; also a laborer named Thomas Anthony, born Canada; and Lucy Gilbert 52 (?) MA.

      In the 1860 Federal Census, the family is still at Becket. They have had three more children in the last decade. They are living near Rhoda's mother Sarah Remington, two brothers Alonzo & John, and John's wife Jane.

      In 1870 the family is still at Becket. William is blind.

      In 1880, William & Rhoda are still at Becket, MA. Two of their adult children and one grandson are also in the household.
