I found Mary's maiden name on the marriage record of son William John Remington. The reason for the divorce was extreme cruelty.

Notes - His birth record appears to say 12 Sep 1905, but the year was changed to 1904, with 4 being written over the 5. The date of record is 8 Feb 1905. The birthplace is given as Goffstown.
At the time of his marriage to Olive Porter, Arthur at age 19 (actually 17) was a candy-maker and Olive at age 20 was an office girl. At the time of his marriage at age 22 to Elizabeth King, Arthur was a barber. The marriage record says it was his first marriage, but it wasn't.
According to Michael Edward Remington's genealogy, William A. Remington was married seven times. His wives were: Mary Bartlett, Nancy Unknown, Olive Porter, Elizabeth King, Pearl Agee, Shirley Hibbs, & Carol Unknown. I don't know if this is accurate; I have found the above two marriage records, one divorce record and his census records as below.
There is a divorce record for Mary J. Remington from William A. Remington, residence Manchester, NH, 1 Mar 1927 for reason of extreme cruelty. The marriage was 22 Aug 1924 at Boylston, MA. I am making an assumption that she was Mary Bartlett, as given in the marriage record of son William John Remington.
In the Federal Census of 1930, William Remington, age 23 NH, is living at Bridgeport, Fairfield Co., CT. He is married to Nancy, age 22 Scotland. With them are Jean 29 & Margaret 26 Lindsey, sisters-in-law, both born in Scotland.
In 1940 William & Nancy Remington, ages 35 and 31, are living in Bronx, New York. He was born NH, she in CT; he is a salesman.
