In 1881 John is age 21 and married to Mary, also age 21. They are living at 9 Plantation Row, Mansfield.
In 1891 John & Mary are age 30, living at 28 Union St., Mansfield. With them is Ethel Bostwick, age 6, niece, born Notts.
In 1901 John & Mary are ages 41 & 40. They are living at 1 Caxton Terrace, Mansfield. With them are Ethel Bostock, age 16, niece born Notts; and Florrie Coleman, age 16, born Mansfield, Notts. Both Ethel & Florrie are shop assistants. Florrie is my great-aunt, sister of my Grandma Berry (nee Ellen Coleman).
