    • In the 1910 Federal Census, Alma Remington is a widow age 42, living at 1713 Newberry Ave., in Ward 9, Chicago, Cook Co., IL. With her are Grace, 15; Maud, 11; & Joseph, 10.

      In 1920, Alma Remington is age 49 and still at Chicago. They are at 2800 Emerald Ave., next to or with John & May (Remington) Riplow and their five children. According to the census data, Alma immigrated in 1888. In the household with her are daughter Maud, 21, and son Joseph, 19. Alma is a practical nurse and Joseph is a chauffeur.

      Alma's maiden name was sent to me by a descendant, Robert MacDonald.
