Notes - In the 1860 Federal Census, Joseph A. Elsbree is age 22, living at Taunton, MA, in the household of John & Rhoda Allen. Also there are Henry, Susan, & Adelaide Elsbree. The penmanship of the census taker is rather sloppy (Elsba), but clearly these are members of the Elsbree family.
In 1870, Joseph A. Elsbree is married and age 31, living at Fall River, MA, with his parents and his wife, Nellie M. 20, and son Merton A., 2 mos.
