    • In the 1860 Federal Census, Joseph A. Elsbree is age 22, living at Taunton, MA, in the household of John & Rhoda Allen. Also there are Henry, Susan, & Adelaide Elsbree. The penmanship of the census taker is rather sloppy (Elsba), but clearly these are members of the Elsbree family.
