• Notes

  I have made an assumption that Henry Ellsbree, age 48 in the 1850 Federal Census, belongs in this family group. His profession is a stone cutter, the same as Benjamin's. Also, the names of his children, particularly Rhoda B., suggest that he belongs to this family. In 1850 Henry is married to Mary H., age 43. They have seven children in the household: Mary H. 22, Alvada T. 17, Rhoda B. 15, Henrietta M. 10, Amanda J. C. 8, Henry H. 5, & Susan A. C. 2, all b MA. I am assuming these are all children of Henry & Mary. In 1860 the family is still at Fall River: Henry 58, Mary H. 53, Alzada T. 27, Rhoda B. 25, Henrietta M. 20, Amanda J. C. 18, Henry H. 15, & Susan A. C. 12. In 1870 Henry & Mary H. are 68 & 64. With them are Alzada T. 36 & Henry H. 25. In 1880 the family is still at Fall River, and consists of Henry 78, Mary H. 73, Alzadie T. 47, & Henry H 35. Next door is daughter Rhoda B.
