I have roughly estimated John's year of birth. Information on John as a son of Joshua & Rhoda came to me from Ian Feavearyear.

Fall River vital records list the death of a John Elsbree on 17 Jan 1844, at age 38. It says he was a manufacturer and died of consumption. I have made an assumption that it is this individual, because the age is about right, and also his wife and children are without him in the 1850 census.
