    • Remington, Horace born Wellingsford, VT 1840 residence Dickinson s/o Truman Remington & Jane Bell unit: 60th NY Co. I rank: Pvt. enlisted: Aug., 1861 occupation: Farmer comments: died of disease at Washington, DC in August ,1862. Buried at Soldiers and Airmen's National Cemetery Section C, Grave 3201. Regimental records indicate that he had deserted in June 1862 from Warrenton, VA.
