    • In the Federal Census of 1870, Wallace & Emma Remington, ages 30 & 25, are living at Dayton, Cattaraugus Co., NY. They have four children: Ida 8, George 5, Frank 3, and Newell 6 months. They are living next to Garret Remington and his wife, who are next to Orange Remington and family.

      In 1910 W. W. Remington and wife Emma, ages 70 & 66, are living at Red House, Cattaraugus Co., NY. With them is son William, 28. Next door is Adelbert Remington and his family. I have made an assumption that Adelbert is a son of Wiliam & Emma.
