    • In the Federal Census of 1850, Orra Potter is age 56, living in Cranston, RI. With her is Cynthia Mathewson 39, Juliet and Matilda Potter both age 30, and Louisa T. Remington 1. Cynthia is Orra's widowed daughter and Louisa is Orra's granddaughter, child of Louisa Potter Remington who died in 1849.

      I have made an assumption that Juliet and Matilda are also Orra's daughters (needs more research to confirm).

      In 1860 Orra age 65 is still in Cranston. With her are: Cynthia Potter 48, Juliet Potter 32, and Louisa Remington 11.
