  In 1914, Manuel founded the town of Coronel Arnold in Santa Fe, Argentina. The town is sometimes called Arnold. In the 1895 Argentine Census, Manuel B. Arnold age 23 was living with his family in Departamento Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. "Son of Colonel Prudencio Arnold Brown - American origin - was the nephew of Admiral Guillermo Brown and was a prominent military man who acted against Rosas and then in the border defense against Indian raids.
