• Notes

  I have made an assumption that Anthony belongs in this family group. Three of his siblings are found living with various relatives in 1880, as he is (age 6 living with his Aunt Jane Aappenheimer). I think both of his parents must have died in the 1870s, although I have not found a date of death for his mother. In 1910 and 1920 he is listed in the census as Andrew Remington; in 1930 he is Anthony. The family is living at Toulon, Stark Co., IL. His death record gives his occupation as a horse racer.
