    William was first cousin to our ancestor Deborah (Usher) Chafee.

    William married Phebe Howland Maxfield 23 Aug 1828. Phebe (daughter of David Maxfield and Merebah Unknown) was born Abt 1804, RI; died 23 May 1873; was buried , North Burial Ground, Bristol, RI. [Group Sheet]
