    I am making an assumption that this marriage to Ethel, found in the 1920 and 1930 censuses, belongs to this particular Frank A. Remington, because the age is right. Also, the daughter's name Ruth is a clue that she may be named after his grandmother and aunt, both named Ruth.

    Ethel is quite a bit younger than Frank, so this may be a second marriage for him. In 1880, there is a Frank H. (?) Remington, 25 (c1855 RI), in Dist. 39 Providence, with a wife named Alice G., 21 (c1859 RI). This could be his first marriage.
