    In 1875, Ferdinand H. Remington is age 7, living with his father, stepmother, and stepsister Annie, in Providence, RI. In 1880, Ferdinand is age 13, boarding with his aunt Harriet A. (Remington) Brightman and other family members, in Providence, RI. In the 1920 Federal Census, Ferdinand, age 51, & his wife Carrie, age 47, are living in Providence, RI. They are still at Providence in 1930, when Ferdinand is 60 and Ethelinda is 59. However, I think she must be the same wife, because in both censuses it says her father was born in Connecticut and her mother in Maine. This is confirmed by the marriage record, which has her name as Carrie E. Williams.

    Ferdinand married Carrie Ethelinda Williams 30 Oct 1894, RI. Carrie was born Between 1871 and 1872, RI; died 8 Jun 1939, Providence, RI. [Group Sheet]
