    Notes:

    In 1900 she is Maria L.; in 1910 she is Eliza M. The age and state of birth are consistent, so I have assumed she is the same wife.

    In the 1920 census her name appears to be Louisa. The gravestone says Louisa M. and has her year of birth as 1858.

    Louisa married Isaac S. Remington Abt 1880. Isaac (son of Francis Remington and Hannah Unknown) was born Abt Sep 1854, IN; died 1928; was buried , Newkirk IOOF Cemetery, Kay Co., OK. [Group Sheet]

    Please note that I am not absolutely sure that Eugene is the son of this particular Mary Elizabeth. However, the location and the time frame agree. I have not been able to find another Mary E. Remington in the 1900 census records for OK.

    The family is still there in 1930. Also in the household is Helen M. Saylor (name unclear), 73, mother-in-law.

    Francis married Clara I. Saylor Abt 1909. Clara (daughter of Helen M. Unknown) was born Abt 1883, KS; died 1959; was buried , Newkirk IOOF Cemetery, Kay Co., OK. [Group Sheet]
