    In the Federal Census of 1 June 1900, the family is living at Fenton, Broome Co., NY. According to the census data, Hiram & Elvira A. Bingham have been married 20 years, and have had five children, four of whom are still living. In the census are listed four sons: Eddie F. 19, Howard C. 16, Floyd E. 12, & Clifford W. 2. Also in the household is a nephew, Claud G. Bingham, age 11; and a woman listed as "mother" -- Emily J. Isbell, a widow age 68. Perhaps she is Hiram's mother, who remarried and thus has a different surname.

    In 1910 the family is still at Fenton: Hiram 53, Elvira A. 48, Howard C. 27, Clifford D. 13, & Addie L. 6.

    In 1920 they are still at Fenton; children Howard 36 & Addie 15 are the only children in the household.
