    Notes:

    The marriage announcement refers to her as Mrs. Marcy Comstock, widow of Capt. Joseph. It says she married Col. John Remington, but it should have read Col. Jonathan Remington. She later died in Lansingburgh, NY, where Jonathan Remington had moved to, and where he himself later died. His brother John stayed in Adams, MA. In addition, I have found evidence that Jonathan's first wife had died, but not John's.
