    In the 1850 Federal Census, this is the family household: Roderick Rounds 53, Mary Rounds 42, Emeline Manchester 17, William Manchester 23, Lucy A. Manchester 7, Bradford C. Rounds 4, Charles E. Rounds 2, John Rounds 18, & Abraham Rounds 25.

    Roderick's death record identifies his mother as Sarah Rounds; no father is mentioned. The 1800 census has an Alfred Rounds in Tiverton, with 3 free white males under age 10. However, there is no Roderick among the birth records for Alfred's family.

    Could he be the son of Sarah Rounds, born 16 Feb 1765, Tiverton, to David Rounds Jr. and Hannah? Just speculation.

    Roderick married Zilpha Wodell Abt 1820. Zilpha (daughter of Abram Wodell and Zilpha Stafford) was born Abt 1803; died Between 1838 and 1844. [Group Sheet]

    The 1900 Federal Census has his date of birth as Jan 1832.

    In the Federal Census of 1850, Joseph & Roby are living at Tiverton in the Wing household which consists of the following individuals: Edward Wing 78 MA, Elizabeth Wing 73 PA, Ann Hopkins 76 PA, Adeline Manchester 15 RI, Joseph Rounds 22 RI, Roby Rounds 20 RI, John Keefe 24 Ire, and Isaac Manchester 11 RI.

    In the Federal Census of 1860, Joseph & Roby are living at Tiverton. They have a son, Arthur S. Listed next to them is Roby's grandmother Roby ("Rhoda") Dennis and her son Bradford Dennis.

    In the Federal census of 1870, Joseph & Roby are still at Tiverton. With them is son Arthur 11, and Bradford Rounds 23, Joseph's half-brother.

    In the Federal Census of 1880, Joseph & Roby, ages 49 & 50, are still at Tiverton. Joseph is a farmer. Both of their children have died.

    Joseph married Robena "Roby" S. Manchester 18 Jun 1848, Tiverton, Newport Co., RI. Robena (daughter of Jeremiah A. MANCHESTER and Mary H. DENNIS) was born 7 Jun 1831, Tiverton, Newport Co., RI; died 12 Feb 1899, Tiverton, Newport Co., RI; was buried , Historical Cemetery 33, off King St., Tiverton, RI. [Group Sheet]

    Notes:

    In 1900, Bradford C. Rounds is age 48, lodging with Wm. H. Manchester and family. It gives his birth date as March 1852. However, that cannot be correct if he is the son in the 1850 census. His occupation is fisherman.

    In 1910, Bradford C. Rounds is age 64, boarding with Charles Slocum in Tiverton. He is employed as a laborer on a fishing boat.

    In 1915 he is age 63, boarding with Charles and Sarah Manchester; still a fisherman.

    in 1920, Bradford Rounds is age 64, living at the Tiverton Town Farm.

    The death record as indexed at familysearch.org says parents unknown.
