    In the 1870 and 1880 Federal Censuses, Willie is living with his parents at Thomasville, GA. In 1870 Willie is 8, and in 1880 he is 17.

    The following census data may also apply to this particular William D. Remington:
    In 1910 W. D. Remington is 45 and his wife Tyne is 30. They are on Baltimore Ave. in Waycross, Ware Co., GA. In 1920 William D. Remington is age 57, and his wife Tyne is 40. They are still living at 21 Baltimore Ave. in Waycross, Ware Co., GA. In 1930 they are still there; William D. is 67 and Tyne J. is 50. The 1920 census data says that both of Williams's parents were born in GA, while the 1930 census says they were both born in RI; but these inconsistencies may be due to misunderstandings or errors by the informants or the census takers (his father was born in RI, his mother in GA). Also in the household in 1930 is a niece, Ethel Campbell, age 16.

    Family history says William died in Caddo, TX (needs research to confirm).

    I have entered the information for this marriage to Tynie Jones, with the assumption it belongs to this particular William (pending further research). Census data shows no other William Remington or W. Remington born in Georgia.
