    • In the 1870 Federal Census, "Sobestin" & Laura are living at Clayton, Genesee Co., MI, with their son Justin. They are next door to Levi Remington and family.

      In the 1850 Federal Census, his name is given as Sylvester. Perhaps it is supposed to be Sebastian. According to Don Appleby's genealogy web site, he is Sabestin Remington, b.21 Mar 1840 at Grand Blanc, MI.
