  It appears in the 1830 census that Truman Remington is married and has three daughters under age five. The family is living at Wallingford, Rutland Co., VT. In 1840 the family is still at Wallingford. He is listed near Amos Gorton, Rufus Remington, and Jonathan Remington. It appears that there are three sons and two daughters in the household. Octavia Remington 22 VT and Prudence Remington 18 VT, living at Wallingford, VT, in the 1850 census, could possibly be Truman's daughters.
