1921 | Guy & Josephine moved to Idaho. Their children were all born there. In the 1930 Federal Census, Guy & Josephine are living at Wichita Falls, Wichita Co,, TX. They have four children. Interestingly, there is a Guy A. Remington of the same age range in the 1920 census, living at Linn, Iowa. However, he has a wife named Elsie and two other children whose names do not appear anything like the names in 1930. The same individual is still living at Linn, IA, in 1930, with the same wife and two sons. So, it must be a different Guy A. Remington, born around the same time and in the same state. | Remington, Guy Amos (I09084)

1930 | Hannah Elsbree, wife of Benjamin, died at Fall River at age 35, cause of death -- consumption (Fall River vital records, vol. 20 p. 50). She may be a descendant of Thomas Butts & Elizabeth Lake, the first Butts family in southeastern MA and RI. As yet I have been unable to determine Hannah's parentage. Her death record says she was born at Fall River. The 1810 census shows a "David Butt" at Troy, Bristol Co., MA; he could be Hannah's father. According to an online tree, this couple was David Butts and Rebecca Crapo (dtr of Francis Crapo and Margaret Beale). The census data shows the household consisted of 3 males under 10, one male 10-15, and one male 45+; 2 females under 10, one female 10-15, and one female 26-44. It is known that this couple had a daughter Margaret born 1805 in Fall River; she married Philip Cowan in 1823 and died in 1883 at age 77 y 9 m. A David Butts of Freetown married Content Cleveland in 1790. In 1820 there's also a Benjamin Butt in Freetown who has 2 females under 10. | BUTTS, Hannah (I00629)

|
1934 | Hannah is mentioned as Hannah Remington, sister, in the 1750 will of Josiah Hale of Suffield. One source has a daughter, Hannah, born 25 Mar 1723. If this is accurate, she may have been a wife of Joseph Mills, Jr., who married a Hannah Remington. This needs more research to confirm if this Hannah belongs here and if she was one of Joseph's wives. (see Thomas Remington of Suffield, CT, and Some of His Descendants) | Hale, Hannah (I03461)

|
1938 | Hannah is not mentioned in Henry's will, at least the portion that remains and can be read. However, his will does mention William Tanner. A William Tanner married a Hannah Tibbitts; they had a daughter Avis. So, I am placing Hannah here as a daughter of Henry, based on that evidence. I have roughly estimated her birth year. | Tibbetts, Hannah (I23361)

1949 | Hannah's date of death has been given to me as 1844. However, Amasa's wife Hannah is living with him and their three children in the 1850 Federal Census. Perhaps she really died in 1854; or else he had a second wife named Hannah, also. | White, Hannah (I10236)
