    • Marie's name was really Maren.

      Marie never lived in the home with her new step-family; she was raised in another family. As an adult she worked in a place where thay sold porcelain. Marie would bring her children along to work and her employer was very patient with their behavior. She would say, "Oh just let them do that." Marie and her husband, Martinus, were Christian young people who had met each other at church.
