Notes - Her name is sometimes given as Alce or Alys. See will of her father Anthony, dated 5 May 1649, which mentions his daughters Alce & Mary (Tripp). A receipt concerning the will was signed by John Tripp & Mary Tripp, his wife, and says legacy was received from Rose Weeden, executrix. Another receipt was signed by Lott Strainge & Alce Strainge, his wife, formerly Alce Paine daughter of Anthony Paine, deceased, and says the legacy was from Rose Paine, executrix to Anthony Paine.
Her own will of 1688 mentions ten cousins who are the children of John & Mary (Paine) Tripp. Also named is her Uncle John Albro and his wife, as well as several other kinsmen.
