• Notes

  One family web site has this Joseph dying after 1680, at or near Jamestown, RI. It is possible there is confusion in differentiating between him and the Joseph born abt. 1654. Or, possibly there was only one Joseph, and no one knows whether John I or John II was his father (?). One of them could have died young -- but which one? If indeed this is a different Joseph than the son of John II, did he die young, or perhaps did he migrate south to Rhode Island? Read all notes for the Joseph Remington b c1654.
