    • The marriage record identifies her as Hannah Sweet, daughter of Henry of East Greenwich.

      I am not sure that this birth date is the one for this Hannah, but the location and father's name agree, and her age matches James's.

      Apparently she already had a daughter, Waite Sweet, who later married her husband's son, Uriah Matteson, in 1764. The bride and groom must have been step-siblings.
