• Notes

  Boyd Scott Remington's ancestry chart has different information for Samuel's family. He says that Samuel married Eliza H. Hutchins of Seekonk on 5 March 1840, in Hartford, CT. He lists two children: Edwin S. & Eliphalet. (no sources are noted for any of this) It is possible that the February date in Seekonk was a marriage intention, and that the marriage took place in Hartford in March. Samuel's gravestone says he died 29 Nov 1844, although I may have misread it.
