Notes - Elizabeth, widow of John Sweet, was probably Job's second wife. She is mentioned as "mother-in-law" (stepmother) in the will of Job, Jr.
It has been speculated that Job's first wife was named Mehitable, as that is the name of the first daughter. Also, Job Tripp, Jr. named his first daughter Mehitable. However, Job Sr. did have a sister named Mehitable, so it is possible that this is why the name has been passed down in the family.
