Notes - In the 1850 Federal Census, Noble C. Remington is age 36 and his wife Mary is 32. They are living in North East Township, Erie Co., PA, with four children: Acenith, Mariette, Seth, & Melissa.
In the 1860 Federal Census, N.C. & Mary Remington, ages 45 OH & 42 NY, are still at North East Township. With them are six of their children: Asneth 19 PA, Mary Ett 17 PA, Seth 14 PA, Melissy 12 PA, Luserne 9 PA, & Bernice 6 PA. Also with them is Andrew J. Remington, age 10 IL. He is their nephew, son of Jonathan. Chester Dolph, 25 NY, a blacksmith, is also in the household.
In 1870 Noble and wife "Marion" are still at North East, Erie Co., PA, with five of their children; and in the 1880 Federal Census, N. C. Remington is still at North East, Erie County, PA, with his children Malisa & Amos, plus a servant, Bella Sparks.
