    • Norman lived in Macomb County & Lapeer County, MI. In the 1850 Federal Census, Norman & Polly are living at Ray, Macomb Co., MI, with their son "Reubin" and Norman's father "Dan." In 1870, they are still there, with four children: Reuben, Rufus, Almira, and Elwin/Elmer. Also in the home is Maria Remington, age 56, b NY. Probably this is Norman's sister-in-law, Mariah.

      In 1880, Norman is living at Oregon, Lapeer Co., MI, with his daughter Palmyra and her husband Robert Metcalf and their three children. Elmer Remington, age 12, is also there.
