  In the 1850 Federal Census, Simeon A. Smith is age 44, living in District 81, Thomas Co., GA. His wife Susan is 37. They have five children in the household: Simeon 12, Achilles 9, Readen (?) 7, James 5, & Cora 2. The family is there is 1860, too, but just initials are given for their first and middle names in the census. In 1870 Simeon & Susan, ages 65 & 58, are at Thomasville, Thomas Co., GA.
