  In the 1850 Federal Census, Thaddeus B. Remington is age 31, living with his (probably widowed) father and siblings in Canandaigua, Ontario Co., NY. In 1860, T. B. Remington is age 41 and his wife H. Maria is 36. They are still at Canandaigua. They have two daughters, Alice & Lydia. The 1865 census index for Canandaigua, Ontario Co., NY, lists in household #95: Thaddeus B., Alice C., Bradford M., & Lydia M. Remington. In 1870 he is age 50, and is living there with his wife, Anna, and three children -- Alice, Lydia, & Bradford. His father, age 76, is in the household, also. In 1880 the family is still together at Canandaigua, except for Bradford. H. Maria is listed as Hannah.
