Notes - In the 1850 Federal Census, Campbell is age 36 and Polly is age 42. They are living at Huntington, Chittenden, VT, with children Stephen, Emerson, Francis, Jane, & Lodeemy. In 1870 Campbell & Polly are at Calais, Washington Co., VT. A child, Willie E. Remington, age 9, is with them. Is he a son or grandson?
In 1870 they are next door to Oscar & Jane White. I am making an assumption that Jane is the former Jane Remington, daughter of Campbell & Polly (the age fits her year of birth).
Pat Boyden's genealogy has Campbell's date of birth as 3 Aug 1813. I have not verified which year is correct.
