Notes - Her father may have been a Thomas Remington, but this has not been confirmed, although it is suggested on at least one family tree online. She may have been a daughter of Jonathan & Lorana (Arnold) Remington, or Matthew & Rachel (Easterbrooks) Remington. Unfortunately, many of the records were lost as a result of British aggression at Newport and other communities.
If she was actually from Prudence Island, Priscilla may have been a daughter of Thomas & Amy, or William & Freelove, or William & Abigail, or Josiah and Jane. These names are found in various town records as living on Prudence Island during the 1700s.
Most likely she is related to my ancestor Joseph Remington, who was married to Innocent (Lake) Taylor at Portsmouth in 1744.
