    • In the 1850 Federal Census, Charles & Jane are living at Geneva, Kane Co., IL; they have 6 children. In 1860 they are at Winfield, Dupage Co., IL, with 6 children, but one of their sons has apparently died. In 1870 they are still there, with an additional young son.

      In 1880 Charles is living in Turner, Dupage Co., IL, and has a wife named Sarah, so apparently Jane has died. Son Frank, 18, is in the household.
