Notes - According to Carla Philips, David Brayton Manchester belongs in this family, but he is not with them in the 1850 census -- unless, of course, the census taker missed a name. In fact, I can't find him in any census before 1880. However, there is a David B. Manchester b c 1849/50, s/o John (b c1824, prob. s/o Charlotte) & Mary, in the 1860 & 1870 censuses at Tiverton.
According to Carla, this David married Eva Willis on 16 Dec 1874 at N Kingstown, Washington Co., RI.
the 1880 Federal Census shows David B. Manchester, age 30, a fisherman, living at North Kingstown, RI. His wife, Mary E., is 25, and they have a daughter Edith B., age 2. This David may belong to Philip & Esther, or he may belong to John & Mary. (This needs more research.)
