  In the Federal Census of 1850, Edmund C. Remington, age 25, is living at Reading, Hillsdale Co., MI. The census says he is a carpenter born in MA, but if this is indeed Charles Edmund, that information is probably incorrect. In the Federal Census of 1900, Edmund and Ruth A. Remington, ages 75 & 61, are living at Bloomingdale Village, Van Buren Co., MI. With them is daughter Clare E. 35. They are next to Edwin and family.
