- In the 1830 census, William Munday is listed at Troy (Fall River), MA. The household consists of 2 free white males 15-19, 1 free white male 20-29, and 1 free white female 20-29. I suppose this includes William and his wife, but who are the others?
In the 1840 census, William Munday and wife appear to be at Fall River, MA. Also listed is George Munday.
In 1850 and 1860, William & Eliza are in Fall River, MA. Other individuals with them in 1850 are Mary Durfee, Thomas M. Durfee, and Levica Miller. In 1860 they have a daughter Abby L, age 9; Mary Durfee is still with them, but the age is off.
In the 1865 Massachusetts State Census, the family is still at Fall River: William Munday 58 RI, Eliza H. Munday 53 RI, Augustin Munday 19 South America, Abby Munday 14 MA, Mary Durfee 50, and Jane Farrell 30 Ireland.
In 1870 William, Eliza, and their daughter (Alice?) are in Boston. Mary Durfee is still with them -- age 54.
According to William's death record at Boston (it is also registered in Fall River), he was born in Wickford; no parents are named. He died at age 76 y 7 m. Based on location and census records, I have made an assumption that William is a son of Nathaniel Munday, who is in the 1820 census at NK with two sons.
I believe Mary Durfee is ister to Eliza.
